David P. Cote, MAGD, ABGD
"For over forty years as a general dentist, I have pursued excellence through lifelong learning. Through these efforts, I have achieved the status of Master in the Academy of General Dentistry and have been board-certified by the American Board of General Dentistry. Additionally, I am a Sustaining Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. I believe in the value of organized dentistry and the ethical values espoused by those organizations. I am also a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Northern Virginia Dental Society."
Dr. Cote graduated from Johns Hopkins University and completed his dental studies at the University of Maryland in 1979. Upon graduation, he began his career in the Navy Dental Corps which took him all over the world. He completed a one-year Fellowship in General Dentistry at the Naval Dental Center in San Diego and a two-year Comprehensive Dentistry residency at the Naval Post Graduate Dental School in Bethesda. He also served as Assistant Director of the Fellowship Program and as Assistant Professor at the Naval Dental School before retiring in 2003 to start private practice.
